“ Found this gem online and I was so excited to get to try so many baked goodies that are both GF and vegan!! This place exceeded my expectations - I tried the matcha latte, rainbow cake, matcha/adzuki muffin, chai muffin, packaged cookies, and monte blanc cake - they were all amazing!!! This is one of the places I miss most after leaving Japan, everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and so unique. I can't wait to come here again on my next trip. Thank you for making such amazing gluten free/vegan food!! ”
“ Excellent place for gluten intolerant/coeliac people and vegan people - entire menu is both gluten free and vegan! Enjoyed a combo including a drink, burger and piece of cake. All delicious not many tables available but it was quiet on a Sunday morning so shouldn't be much trouble ordering when you go! ”
“ Cute little tea and sweet dessert shop! Got the milk tea, earl gray, lemon soda, and rainbow cake. Rainbow cake has different flavors: red yeast rice, carrot, squash, spinach, butterfly pea, and sweet potato. The cake is not too sweet, good thin layer of frosting, and one impressive pro is that it is 100% vegan!! The entire shop is vegan. The lemon soda was my favorite. Had a good pop of flavor. Then milk tea was a medium strong tea with slight watered down taste. Earl gray tastes like earl gray. Overall was a great resting place after walking around Kappabashi kitchen street. ”
“ Burger is excellent, the cakes are beyond expectations. The matcha tiramisu is highly recommended. The matcha tiramisu has a combination of cream, matcha, red bean and caramel base. If interested with the pizza bacon, don’t hesitate to order the whole pan size. ”
“ Syouchikuen is a cute small space that serves coffee and tea drinks, and lite lunch options. It is all gluten-free and vegan. The iced black oolong tea was very nice on a hot day and the mango smoothie was good quality with a good amount of soy milk, not like a fresh mango smoothie. They have a nice selection of desserts that looked really nice. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I did hear that they were out of one of the pizza options and it was only 11 am. Overall Syouchikuen is a good choice for gluten-free and vegan food. Note: They reward customers who post a review on Google with a free delicious cookie. Never did they ask for a good review or a 5-Star review. Smart, classy owners! ”
“ This Yakitori burger and this cup of coffee had no right to be so good!!!! Back in my home country for about 2-3 months already, but still dreaming of this burger. Bread was soft (felt like it was steamed?) with a very tasty burger filling. This was really so good I contemplated ordering another one of it again. Licked up the burger wrapper too I would rate this 100000/10!!! Super yummy. ”
“ Ordered the yuba hamburger for 1300 yen Honestly pretty bad taste and the size is extremely small Although I tried only that so can't say for sure how the other dishes here are, the sweets looks very good ”
“ Fun little vegan and gluten-free cafe. The staff working were friendly and kind. It is a small place and the serves are to the smaller side, too. Maybe more of a snack and treat spot I’d say. We came for lunch and had a pizza and burger plus cake and smoothies and drinks and weren’t full after. The rainbow cake looks beautiful, but wasn’t too flavorful. Tiramisu was more enjoyable. Great alternative cafe if on the search for gluten-free and vegan or dairyfree sweat and savory treats! ”
